Syncing i-Pro to Rentals United

This Guide will instruct you how to sync properties with Rentals United.

1. Go to the Pro CMS


2. Drop down Channel Manager, here you will see the Rentals United Channel.

However if it is not here do the following:

i. Right click on Channel Manager.

ii. Select Create.

iii. When the menu opens, select the document Type as Rentals United and name it Rentals United and click Create.

iv. Rentals United will now show in Channel Manager.

3. Select Rentals United.


4. Now you must populate the Settings tab with the necessary details.


5. Once you have configured your account, you will then need to set which properties you wish to sync with the channel.

i. Go to the property you wish to add

ii. Go to the Distribution tab of the property and fill in all the fields with the appropriate details then Click Save and Publish.

iii. Do the same for the Attributes tab.


6. Ensure the Rooms Sub Nodes are completed and all tabs are filled out appropriately. Click Save and Publish.

7. Do the same with the Distances Sub Node.


8. After all information, tabs and Sub Nodes are completed go to the Rentals United Sub Node under the Channels Sub Node.


9. Ensure that the Enabled switch is set to ON then click Save and Publish. If this switch is left OFF you may leave yourself at risk of double bookings.


10. Go to the Status tab and complete the following steps in the order provided.

i. Click Sync Details (This will create the Advert on Rentals United)


ii. Each field will attempt to validate, if any fields fail (for example; the number of Rooms Sub Nodes doesn't match the Rooms in the Property's Attributes tab) you will have to address the issue and ensure all data is matching. Then repeat this method until in the Toolbar field a message says "Content Sync Was Successful". Click Save and Publish.

11. No click the Sync Rates button in the same field. If there are at least 6 future months of Rates for that property the sync will pass. 


The Message "Rates Sync Was Successful" will appear. Click Save and Publish.

12. Finally, click the Push & Pull Availability button, if there is an error Click the Push Availability button.


The message "Availability Sync Was Successful" will appear. Click Save and Publish.

13. Go the the property on Rentals United and check to make sure everything is correct.

Your property is now successfully synced with Rentals United.
