Within iPro you can easily refund your security / breakages deposit and add a damages payment, so that you only refund a part of the deposit held, please follow the guide below:
1. Refund the security / breakages deposit by loading the booking and then clicking the orange button.
2. On the modal which appears, simply enter how much of the deposit you wish to retain, in the example below we wish to keep £163.35 due to damages caused by the guest.
3. You will then need to select the payment method for the refund, in this example we are choosing "Bank Transfer", please note that if you are using a payment provider it is possible to refund directly to the card on file
4. If you wish to use the automated email please leave "Send automated payment received email to guest?" ticked, otherwise you can send a manual email later.
5. Once you click save you will return to the booking and you will see that you have a new payment log for the damages payment and the refund of the security / breakages deposit.
