About this course


Course Overview


The objective of this training session is to have the knowledge and understanding of how to configure and setup the emails that you will be sending from the booking section of iPro.


There are many emails that can be configured to be instantly sent based on different events.   You will also learn how to configure different templates that can be used as and when required.



Lesson 1: Configuring emails for new bookings




About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn how to configure and send instant emails based on the payment status of the booking i.e Provisional, Deposit Paid, Balance Paid.


Choose whether to notify the owner immediately on provisional bookings.




Lesson 2: Why we have deposit & balance payment received emails




About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn the difference between "Guest Booking Confirmation (Deposit Paid)" and "Guest Payment Received (Booking Deposit)" email notifications.  This will work the same for the balance paid.  

You will learn how to differentiate your message based on if the guests pay a deposit or the balance immediately with the booking or pay the deposit or balance later following a reminder email.




Lesson 3: How to setup channel specific emails





About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn how to differentiate your emails for bookings which have been received via the channel manager.  It is important that when communicating via an OTA platform you do not include external websites to your website.  Any external company links could violate the terms of service for the OTA.



Lesson 4: How to configure attachments





About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn how to setup default dynamic PDF attachments, this will allow you to create PDF invoices that contain all the necessary information.




Lesson 5: How to use the available booking tokens





About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn how to utilise the available booking tokens to personalise the message to your requirements showcasing what you choose to show within either your emails or attachments.




Lesson 6: How to configure using assigned contact details





About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn how to utilise the assigned contacts feature to automate emails or send through necessary information for 3rd party providers.




Lesson 7: How to configure your payment reminders






About the lesson:


Within this lesson you will learn how to setup instant payment reminders to ensure that every guest pays on time every time.
