Introduction
Configuring changeover day rules is really simple in iPro. This guide will walk you through how to set it up in a few simple steps.
How to setup your changeover day options
1/ Go to the CMS and navigate to Online Booking Settings > Booking Rules > Allowed Start Days:
2/ To create a new changeover rule, right-click on the 'Allowed Start Days' node and click 'Create':
3/ A window will pop-up. Put in the name of your rule. We recommend you use a name that describes the rule so you can identify them easily e.g. Sun-Mon. Once done, click 'Create':
4/ An unpublished version of the rule will be created at the bottom of the list. On the right-hand side, you can now specify the allowed start and end days for 7-night bookings and also add a custom message as needed:
5/ Below, you also have the option to configure allowed start and end days for shortbreaks
6/ Once done, click 'Save & Publish' and you'll now have a published version of the rule ready to use when configuring rates:
Take note that Channel Managers don't have the same flexibility that iPro has when it comes to configuring changeover day rules. So if you are using a Channel Manager, you may just need to use a best-case scenario possible based on what is allowed to be synced.
