Overview

This release guide documents the changes made to the iPro CRM Software during the first release of 2024

Reminder: All clients have the ability to view all software changes on their staging site (IPROSTAGE), prior to deployment on the live site.

i.e. clientdomain(com).iprostage.com

(com) is the extension of domain .co.uk, .net, .info, etc...

Deployment Process

Deployment of the updated software is by client request raising a ticket with the support desk or via an email to support@ipro-software.com.

Deployment will be scheduled within an agreed time window. If you wish to change the time which has been agreed, please contact the support desk to arrange a suitable alternative. ,

Enhancements

Statements

  • A currency filter has been added to the create statements page.  You can now create statements that are filtered to only include bookings of the selected currency [6670]
  • Improvements have been made to better support sending statements for specific brands.

Property Management

  • If you're using multiple brands the "Issued By" field on an automatically created bill can now be set based on the brand of the booking. If the "Issued By" field is set to Any in the bill type settings the bill will be automatically set to be issues by the company associated with the brand of the booking when the bill is created.  It will also automatically change is you change the brand on the booking [6671]
  • The bills, tasks and invoices lists can now be filtered by brand [6704]
  • The layout of the bills and tasks lists have been updated to provide additional information [6709]

API

  • A SendEmail parameter has been added to the Create Enquiry API.  When set to false emails wont be sent automatically when the enquiry is created.  The default is true, so existing behaviour is not affected [6691]

Owner Portal [6606]

  • This release includes a new owner portal.  The new owner portal includes improvements to both the layout and performance.  The address to access the new portal is different and is now located at /owners/login, e,g, www.example.com/owners/login
  • Documentation on how to use the new owner portal, including guide that you can share with owner is available on our support portal.

Emails

  • If you CC or BCC any additional addresses when sending an email these will now be displayed when viewing the sent email.

Stripe (6701)

  • Following the changes made in release 2023r2 to allow Stripe payments to be pre authorised there have been some further ammendments to this feature to take into account that most Srtipe accounts are limited to how long payments can be kept on hold.
  • If the guest pays the security deposit via the make payment page the payment will now be processed immediately rather than being placed on hold.
  • Other payments will still be placed on hold and captured after 24 hours, allowing you to cancel them without incurring a charge if needed.  These payments can also be captured manually at any time.
  • If a security deposit payment has been made via the back office it can be processed immediately or placed on hold. If it the payment is put on hold it will not be captured automatically, instead you have the option to capture it manually at any time, otherwise the hold will expire automatically after 7 days.
